In a major organizational crackdown, the Jammu Kashmir National Democratic Party (JKNDP) has ousted its Vice President, Ishtiyaq Ahmad Sheikh, from the party. Citing strict disciplinary action, the party leadership terminated his primary membership and ordered a permanent suspension, effectively barring him from all party roles and responsibilities.
According to an official statement issued by the party, the decision follows allegations of Ishtiyaq Ahmad Sheikh’s involvement in serious anti-party activities. The high command took action after reviewing internal reports and recommendations from the party’s disciplinary committee.
Party representatives emphasized that following this decision, Ishtiyaq Ahmad Sheikh no longer holds any affiliation or standing within the JKNDP.
Primary Membership Terminated: His basic membership has been revoked with immediate effect.
Permanent Suspension: The party confirmed his permanent expulsion, closing any scope for reinstatement in the future.
Public Advisory: Party workers and the general public have been advised against engaging in any political discussions or official dealings with Sheikh under the party banner. The JKNDP stated it will not be held accountable for any of his statements, actions, or commitments.
The Jammu Kashmir National Democratic Party reiterated its firm stance on party discipline, underscoring that breach of trust and actions detrimental to organizational interests will invite immediate expulsion, regardless of an individual’s stature or position.
